"We hired Bravehart Building to renovate our house. The main bathroom had always been a very cold space, so we suggested they close-up the skylight. However, Bill, who understands structures and building so well, noticed during demolition that the cold air was coming from behind the old shower. Upon investigation, he found a complete lack of insulation along the garage wall and roof. He provided an insulation quote and had the problem fixed in days."
Bill Wallace was fast, neat and smart about his work. We have ha other contractors in to do work in the past and they didn't compare to Bravehart. We waited and waited for their jobs to be completed, for months on end. However, with Bravehart, they were in and out of the house in a matter of days, and, their quality of work is excellent.
I had a new tenant moving in to the 2nd floor rather quickly. Most of the walls were covered in painted, embossed wallpaper. The two bathrooms were vintage 1920's. The kitchen was in total disrepair. Windows had been boarded over. Floors and ceilings were in disastrous condition.
Bill promised it would be done, on budget and on time. During the process he arrived promptly every morning. At end of day, the progress was visible.
If only I had met Bill Wallace prior to my main floor renovation on year before. That job went way over budget and time allowed and was not completed satisfactorily, resulting in a lawsuit.
We are more than pleased with our beautiful kitchen because of the skills and talents of Bill Wallace of Bravehart Building. The kitchen in our 1920's era home required a complete renovation. Bravehart had previously done a flawless job of renovating our main bathroom. Bill's team removed the old kitchen including the walls, floor, ceiling, wiring, plumbing and hot water radiator. The Bravehart team was mindful of keeping everything as clean and tidy as possible. Bill is onsite each and every day and efficiently deals with the unexpected, hidden problems that reveal themselves in old houses. Bill was able to reconfigure the mecanicals, move doorways that required seamless patching of plaster, install a tin ceiling, hardwood flooring and perfect tile work, and remove a window and cleverly conceal the exterior opening. All of the members of the Bravehart team are hard working and respectful. Bill remained true to his original quote and timeline. We look forward to having Bravehart Building handle all of our future renovations.
Excellent, Professional, and Reliable!
Working with Bill and Laura was a wonderful experience. Bill and his team gutted our kitchen, closed up a window, looked after the electrical and plumbing in the kitchen, took care of detail trim work and the kitchen backsplash. We were so pleased with their work on the kitchen, we had Bill do the fireplace surround in the adjoining family room. Bill is extremely attentive to detail and a great problem solver. He saved us money by reusing some shutters to close up the window as well as offered alternatives for planning our kitchen so that a heat register would not have to be moved. Overall, Bravehart is reliable, professional, attentive to customer needs and is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. I highly recommend Bravehart Building. We will definitely use them again.
Bill and Laura took a very consultative approach to our job, which involved demolishing a 1940s addition (containing a pantry and mudroom), then gutting the kitchen and incorporating it into our new, expanded addition. It was a big job, and handled very nicely: demolition, gutting a exterior wall, framing, drywall, flooring, plumbing and electrical were all handled with skill and tact. His crew was great. Bravehart adjusted their schedules to accommodate an unexpected two-week delay caused by our difficulty in finding a cabinet installer, and still managed to finish the job on time and on budget. We're grateful for their top-notch work!
